Celebrating art and sustainability in the middle of the forest. Just two hours away from Bombay, but here: no cars allowed, only horses traffic. Nature, abundance of resources. The challenge: taking the forest as the palette, using the forest as a canvas. The result: A 3 days performance, bringing back our roots to the soil, our hands to the organic colors in a meditation with the unity of the nature. Pariticipating in the opening ceremony in a show with the sensitive guitar of Mathias Durand, the magic sounds of Tritha and the verses of Manisha Jain. Combining music, poetry and live painting in front of more than 1000 attendants in this unique leafs dome.

The Story of Light festival gathered more than 60 artists from all over the world; creating together in sunny Goa,India for a month . I arrived to the residency with a very open proposal, and until the last day of the festival, this idea kept on mutating and growing through the collaboration and inspiration of more than 50 people that collaborated directly in this project. The project has mainly two stages: First, a documentation, where the poet Manisha Jain and me, captured the colors and the poetry behind the artists and their projects. Creating a composition of more than 300 hexagonal pieces of paper which resulted in a colorful Documentary Hive. As a consequence of this one month experience, one live performance was produced: with my colors, Manisha's poetry, Tsuneo's music, Flora and Samira's dancing, and the collaboration of more than 25 people on stage. Inspiring places and people, produce inspiring creations.
